Traffic Light Trouble
A game about preventing car crashes in a busy Pittsburgh intersection.
Made in 48 hours for the 2023 GMTK game jam, with the theme: Roles Reversed.
Instead of being stuck in traffic, you can now control the traffic! Use the on-screen buttons (or WASD) to control which lanes have the green, and which are condemned to red. As cars begin to pile up, quick decisions will have to be made before disgruntled office workers and truck drivers decide to blow through a red light. Be weary of the different vehicle types, as misjudging their stopping distances can be deadly!
This is my second game ever, right behind Flippy Blob funnily enough, thanks to the GMTK tutorial for starting in unity. Thanks Mark! I definitely did not judge my time well with this project, which left the presentation pretty rough and some ideas I really wanted left on the cutting room floor. But such is the nature of the game jam. Improvements for next time!
If you have any feedback for my game, feel free to leave them below. Because I very much need it. :)

good game :) fun fact, when we was desining the game for the jam we had the exact same idea, but we chosen another that was simpler. if you want check out our game.
Very good and creative game, but I believe it has a bug about the collision of cars, even being out of the scene some end up colliding. I also think maybe a collision is causing more than one life to be lost. Forgetting the bugs, I think it's a great game!
